About the Role

Jentia Aviation, LLC, an Aviation services consultation company, is looking to expand its ranks to support the growth and development of its Aviation services. Jentia Aviation, LLC's long-term strategy is to support and accelerate MRO programs that will dramatically increase due to the growth and development of the Aviation industry.
We are seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer to be part of a dynamic team. This engineer will develop Test Program Sets (TPSs) to test a wide variety of avionic equipment used across multiple platforms. These TPSs ensure that the capabilities of these aircraft remain at high readiness and aircraft grounding for maintenance is minimized.
The successful candidate will work with other test engineers to put products through a full development cycle from requirements analysis and derivation, product design, integration and test, and validation. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team environment to coordinate test hardware design, identify necessary functionality of the test station, and develop the test scripts used to test the units under test. 

Requirements



  • Aviation background and aircraft engineering/certification experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, OR Associate’s degree in engineering or related field and 2 years airline, OEM or MRO experience

  • Working knowledge of Avionics Engineering in support of avionics subsystem definition, development, integration and testing

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project products

  • Familiar with 14 CFR Parts 21, 25, 26, 43, 91, 121, 125, 135, and 145

  • Familiar with required compliance criteria of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and other FAA and OEM documentation

  • FAA DER (strongly preferred).

  • Ability to coach and motivate a team of engineers.

  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

  • Budget and project management experience required.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.

  • Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AutoCAD required)
